Buy-outs and mergers of and with smaller companies very commonly has your major carrier brand attached to slower, older equipment. While they’re selling you AT&T 4G speed you may be receiving the old Cingular 3G service. This is really a whole other discussion but the common reason for connection problems. As a safegaurd we utilize a backup system for all our customers to ensure delivery. Using this same protocol we actually can deliver an sms to your phone where most others cannot. This process is a little more labor intensive which is why we don’t just use it for everyone. I would recommend using the “Test” page first to see if your phone is eligible for service. If it wont work for you send me an email to sms@exchangetidbits.com and I’d be more than happy to test it further for you.
